The Joys of Surface Pattern Design with Creative Buzz
As a designer, and I don’t think this is unique to me, you always have loads of irons in the fire. These ‘irons’ could be contracts, collaborations and products that are waiting to make themselves known in the real world and not just hanging out in your brain and in your dreams.

One of these irons I was waiting for was an interview I did with Creative Buzz. This is a series that Noissue created to highlight creatives from different industries share how they’ve forged a career in their chosen field and have monetized what they love to do. So I answered questions regarding surface pattern design.
This interview with Creative Buzz,came out of the blue, for me. I was contacted by Yara El Siwi through instagram at first, and I viewed it as a blanket message that was sent to many, many people. When Yara messaged me again weeks later, I felt that maybe this is the real thing? So I messaged her back and the rest is history, so to speak.
